What FuturesBot technically supports on Bitget technically supported

FuturesBot trades Bitget USDT-M perpetual futures via the official API. Information on regulation, fees and availability in your country can be found with the exchange.

⚡
Fees
Maker/taker fees for USDT perpetual futures are set by Bitget; they apply to every trade. You will find the current figures at the exchange.
Link
REST + WebSocket API
FuturesBot uses the official Bitget API v2 (REST and WebSocket) for price data, orders and positions. Execution times depend on the connection and the exchange.
💧
Tradable symbols
BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and the other symbols of FuturesBot's 17 symbols. Liquidity and slippage depend on the respective market.
Shield
Unified Trading Account
One API key is enough for all USDT futures. FuturesBot manages position sizing and leverage according to your settings and sets isolated margin and one-way mode per symbol (not selectable; if this fails, a warning appears in the log).
🔒
API keys stay local
The bot runs on your PC or VPS. Keys are not transmitted to FuturesBot servers. In addition, you can disable Withdraw permissions.
Chart
Own accounts only
FuturesBot trades exclusively via your own API keys on your own accounts. Trading for third parties or passing on signals may require authorization.

All FuturesBot features on Bitget usable

The bot's features are also available on Bitget (isolated margin and one-way mode fixed).

  • ✓
14 strategies — 5 basic strategies and 9 in-house developments (3 of them on 15 minutes), individually switchable; some are switched off by default
  • ✓
🆕 Multi-Symbol Trading — three trading profiles in the .env (Single / Multi-Symbol / Multi-3). As delivered, Profile B (Multi-Symbol) is active – regardless of the exchange. Profile C (fewer API requests, technically suited to exchanges with a tighter API limit such as Bybit/Bitget) is ready in the .env; you make the switch yourself. You decide which symbols are traded and how many. Can be combined with TradingView webhooks (MULTI_SYMBOL_ENABLED=true)
  • ✓
23-level trailing stop — trails the stop according to fixed levels; no reliable protection against losses (price gaps, slippage)
  • ✓
Smart Profit Protection — 4-zone logic with Wick Protection intended to limit stop triggers caused by short price spikes; not reliable protection against losses
  • ✓
TradingView multi-symbol — webhook integration for multiple symbols at the same time
  • ✓
Telegram remote control — close positions, pause the bot, query status by command
  • ✓
Paper trading — active by default, simulated without real capital (flat-rate fees, funding is not recorded)
  • ✓
Funding rate consideration — the bot can include the funding rate in the entry check. Funding is paid or received and as a rule does not offset price losses.
  • ✓
Claude AI integration — optional check layer before entry (result APPROVED/BLOCKED according to your rules, not investment advice)

Installation and first start in paper mode: usually under 30 minutes. Before live operation, first check thoroughly in paper mode.

1

Create Bitget API keys

In your Bitget account under API management create a new API key — with read and trade permissions, without Withdraw. You can find the detailed guide here.

2

Download the trial, unzip it and open “Start FuturesBot” — the quick-start wizard asks for the exchange and API keys (for Bitget also the passphrase; alternatively in config/.env enter).

3

Frequently asked questions about the Bitget Bot

Does FuturesBot work with Bitget Futures?
Yes, FuturesBot is fully integrated with Bitget USDT-M perpetual futures and supports FuturesBot's 17 symbols, e.g. BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT and SOLUSDT.
Do I need programming skills?
No. Leveraged futures trading does, however, require basic knowledge – check thoroughly in paper mode first. Configuration is done via commented files in the folder config/ (.env, strategies.py …) and the configuration editor.
How safe are my API keys?
The API keys remain exclusively local on your PC or VPS. FuturesBot does not send your keys to FuturesBot servers. Additionally disable the Withdrawal rights — the bot does not need it.
Can I test the Bitget bot for free?
Yes, 14 days free — with the functions of the full version and a few differences (one bot instance, diagnostic report by email only, smaller daily quota of the AI help). Paper trading mode is active by default, no real capital is used.
How much starting capital do I need?
The minimum capital depends on the exchange and the minimum order sizes, not on the bot. Only use capital whose total loss you can bear; check thoroughly in paper mode first.
Does my PC have to run 24/7?
Yes, because the bot runs locally. Alternatively: use an inexpensive VPS (5–10 €/month). With the full version you choose Windows or Linux when purchasing.
